I was hooked on Dexter about 6 months ago but seem to have slowly fallen away from the show over the past few months however. Seeing this trailer definitely makes me want to watch it again – thanks for the inspiration!

The last airbender movie
Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this struction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.
Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.
Avatar – The Last Airbender: The Complete Book 3 Collection has a good number of extras. Before the box set is released, individual volumes are released throughout the year before the volumes are collected into one book with an exclusive bonus disc. The individual volumes had audio commentaries with the creators, cast, and production team. These have a lively and fun feel to them and give some history for the show and what went into making the episodes. You get those as part of the set. What’s new is the fifth disc which contains “The Women of Avatar: The Last Airbender” which takes a look at the female cast of characters and includes commentary from the creators as well as from voice actors and fans. You get some background of how the characters were created. “Book 3: Finale Pencil Test Animation” takes a look at some of the scenes from season three and shows the hand animated scenes and compares them to the final product. Finally “Into the Fire Nation at San Diego Comic-Con” shows footage from the panel in 2007 where they previewed some of the third season and discussed the show.
Avatar – The Last Airbender was a fun trilogy that all ages can enjoy. M. Night Shyamalan is adapting the series as a trilogy of live action movies. After his last few movies, I’m not sure they’ll be successful, plus he has to condense over 60 half-hour episodes into about six hours and I think many things will be lost. But there’s always the animated series to watch how it was done correctly!
