After Typhoon Ondoy another typhoon hits Luzon area Typhon Pepeng international codename Parma still remains in Philippines area of responsibility. According to PAGASA Pepeng continues to move westward but very slowly and almost stationary over northern part of Philippines. Chief Nathaniel Cruz said the expected to enter Philippine area of responsibility by Monday afternoon but noted that the typhoon will most likely skirt the country as it move to the northeast. Public Storm Signal No. 3 remains in effect over Ilocos Norte while Storm Signal No. 2 is hoisted over Batanes, northern Cagayan, Babuyan Islands, Calayan Islands, Ilocos Sur, Abra,, Kalinga and Apayao.
