This coming Christmas The Spirit movie continues campaign audiences with a new TV spot that just hit the Net and you're likely to see quite a bit on days to come. Yahoo Movies has the new promo in standard and high-definition video, which proclaims, “This Christmas, It’s Time To Believe In Heroes.” The Spirit tells the story of detective Denny Colt, who is mysteriously returns the dead just to fight crime in his Central City. This film is based on the classic series by comics legend Will Eisner. Right now it looks great and can forgive the fromage level until the film suits. The Spirit is a classic movie, action, adventure, romance told by genre twister Frank Miller (creator of 300 and Sin City). It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns to dead as the Spirit (Gabriel Macht). His Enemy Octopos (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission he's going to wipe our Spirit's beloved city. Violence and Christmas; don't they go hand in hand? Well, for "The Spirit," they sure do. After the jump you'll find a new holiday-themed TV spot for the movie, which opens Dec. 25.
